What exactly happens after I make a reservation for a limousine or a sedan by telephone?

If you have provided us with an email address, we will email a confirmation to you right you finish making a limo reservation.
With an email confirmation, you have a backup you can print out, containing the details of your reservation. If you don’t have an email address or prefer not to share that information when you book a limo by phone, we will be happy to give you a confirmation number before the end of the phone call.
After that, relax until the day of your limousine reservation. The car that you booked will arrive about 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. After your trip is complete, your card will be charged and a final receipt will be emailed to you. Back to Top ….

Last-minute: Can we hire a limousine on short notice?

Our chauffeurs can often be available to you on short notice, particularly if you choose to reserve an executive sedan or an SUV for your trip.
We request that you book ahead of time—both for your peace of mind, and so you can have a complete choice of vehicles. For stretch limousines, vans, or bus/coach reservations, reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. These vehicles need more preparation and stocking up, and therefore more time.
If you have an urgent need, or if your travel plan changes, we are flexible. Please call us at (866) 613-0391, and in most cases, we will be able to help you with your short-notice trip. Back to Top ….

You can rent a limo or sedan from Silverline Sedan and Limo for almost any size group or style of ride. Because we specialize in the transportation needs of busy business executives and embassy staff and their guests, we have an excellent selection of luxury sedans and SUVs so your group of 1 to 3 can travel in comfort and style.
In addition to our fine executive sedans, SUVs, and limos, you can also hire our 6, 8, and 10-passenger stretch limousines, or very popular 12, 14, 16 and 18-passenger SUV limousines, 14-passenger executive vans, 24 and 30-passenger mini-buses, all the way up to our 50-passenger motor coach. And for very special nights on the town, our vintage Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, restored to perfection, is available in the DC metro/ northern VA region. Absolutely! Our 18-passenger Stretch Hummers are guaranteed to make a big entrance.
Other comfortable and luxurious choices include our stretch Lincoln Town Car Limousines, Lincoln Navigator and Cadillac Escalade SUV Limousines, Executive Vans, Mini-Buses, and Motor Coaches to suit a variety of group sizes.
Our personal, sentimental favorite for making an entrance is Silverline’s restored, vintage Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham limo—your choice for very special nights on the town (available only in the Washington DC Metro/ Northern VA region). Group size: What size sedan or limo should my party rent? Should we hire more than one vehicle?

We often recommend hiring a car that seats one or two more people than there are in your party. A 6-passenger limo, for instance, will have room for six people. But that doesn’t give you room to move around and enjoy the limo to its fullest. (Imagine 3 people in the back of your own sedan—they can sit, but they can’t move a lot.)
Consider the size of your group and the event or occasion, as well. A mixed group of adults and children who wish to rent a minibus for a family gathering may require somewhat less space than group of all adults on a corporate outing. When thinking about whether to rent one limo or hire multiples for larger groups, also keep in mind that it can be more affordable to rent one larger vehicle, for instance a stretch SUV limo, minibus, or coach, versus multiple smaller limos.
How many stops you’ll need to make may be a factor with a large group—you’ll find it more practical and economical to have everyone gather at a central location, rather than spend hours of your limousine rental simply picking up passengers.

The price we quote when you make a limo reservation with us, either by email or by phone, is all-inclusive. Tax, tolls, and gratuity are all included in the price—and we even offer complimentary bottled water and a daily newspaper to make your ride more enjoyable. Payment: How do I pay for my limo reservation? Can I pay online for my limo booking?

You’ll make payment arrangements when you make your reservation—by email, or over the phone. Tax, tolls, and gratuity are all included in the price we quote you at that time—the only change to a quoted price is if you have reason to change the trip itinerary. Your card (MasterCard, Visa, or American Express) will be charged and a final receipt will be emailed to you after your trip is complete. Tipping: How much should I tip a limo driver?

At Silverline, nothing. We want to make your ride completely stress-free, so we include all charges up front, including the gratuity. Enjoy your trip! Your chauffeur’s tip is included in the price you pay when you book a limo with us. No last-minute fumbling for payment or tip.
(We always aim to amaze you with exceptional service. if you find that your driver has gone to extraordinary lengths to make your trip special, you may offer him or her an additional gratuity. How much does it cost to book a limo with Silverline?

Our rates range from$66.00/hr to hire a 1-3 passenger executive sedan for 4 hours, to $155.00/hr for a 50-seat motor coach for 4 hours (very affordable, at $3.10/hr  per person!).
Because your cost to hire a limo will vary based on the size of your group, vehicle, and the time or trip you are taking, it may be best to get an idea of the limousine you want to rent (click this link to view our fleet) and get a quote for the vehicle that suits your requirement.

Trip, mileage, and hourly bookings: Can we hire a limousine by the mile, by the trip, or by the hour through Silverline?

Unlike taxis and other car services, we at Silverline Sedan and Limo don’t charge you by the mile. We offer easy to understand flat, by-the-trip (point-to-point) rates, or hourly rates with a four-hour minimum. At Silverline, your charge is determined at the time of reservation, with no surprises—by your schedule, group size, and budget, not by the mile. Back to Top ….

Number of stops: Can my Silverline chauffeur make multiple stops on our trip?

Yes, of course. In a flat-rate, point-to-point trip, there is a charge for extra stops. So if you are planning multiple stops on the way, it may be more cost-effective to rent the vehicle hourly.
